So on the way home from our cake tasting, I decided to kidnap Al and take him to Michael's since we were already in wedding mode.
The trip was a 100% complete success. Al totally dug the fern invites and because of the massive sale Michael's is having right now, we can get everything to match, invites, save the dates, programs and thank you cards for under $150 dollars. INSANE deal! We will have to make our own accommodations, directions and events cards, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

I have to say, I'm totally digging this invite with it's rounded corners, fern design letterpressed onto beautiful ivory linen textured paper and an elastic belly band that is already provided. It also comes with a green envelope with a white fern design as the outer envelope. Sweet! An RSVP card and envelope are also included in this set, but I have no idea what they look like, since we didn't get a chance to open up the box.
I'm SO freakin excited. I'm going to start buying all the components tomorrow. Make a few trips to the store each day in order to get the 50% off (yeah, I'm totally milking the system).
I'm also considering the 6 foot ficus trees as they are currently also on sale for $15, which is the cheapest you can find anywhere.
Fun Times!!!! Whoever thought that I would be a Michael's regular?!?! Crazy!

Hey! That's great that you found such lovely invites! I can't remember if I mentioned it when we spoke but Sarah wasn't able to take on any new clients right now, so this works out. Aren't you glad another thing is done?
