Ok, so I'm no Olivia Newton John, and I promise that I will not be using this particular blog as a forum/soapbox for my political beliefs, however, I would be remiss if I did not at least mention such a historical event.
So, Friday night was the first political debate of this election year with Barack Obama and John McCain. Al and I headed up to our friendss Debbie and Gautam's house to hang out and watch the debates. Thank God for the power of Tivo as it took us 3 hours to get through a 90 minute debate as we would pause and discuss amongst ourselves. What an awesome thing that there is so much buzz and passion around this historic election race. I'm just generally excited. I've always been an acitivist, so it's nice to have people on my train for a little while.
We had such an amazing time hanging out and really talking about both candidates and their respective views.
So with that being said....VOTE!
PLEASE!!!! Any of you who can, register and make sure that your voice is heard in this election.
Enough said....
