Well, can I just say that I am disappointed at best.
Charles FINALLY got back to me today at about 3:00 pm. Almost a full MONTH! The good side is that he did offer a 20% discount which was very kind of him and I really did appreciate it.
Charles' rate for 5 hours of music is $1195.00 which is not that bad. Pretty comparable to everyone else out there. With his experience, I can understand why he would charge just a little bit extra.
However, when we finally did talk, Charles went into salesman mode and tried to convince me to book Spectrum for video services. He asked if I had seen their demo. I didn't have the heart to be honest. The truth is, I've seen examples of Spectrum's work, even different videographers, and I'm just not impressed. Their style just isn't for me. Anyway, he went through this whole spiel with package discounts and what not and I was just like, ok give me two separate contracts and I'll look over them.
He was SUPER quick in getting those contracts to me, literally 20 minutes later, I had both versions in my hand.
SO FREAKING FRUSTRATING!!!! He kept me waiting for almost a month, then as soon I we start talking booking he's on it in 20 minutes.
I just don't understand.
