However, I ended up getting a call from Joel Rabbe of Lethal Rhythms. He called to confirm our meeting that day, which he had mistakenly moved up a day. But since my other meeting had fallen through, I figured, what the heck. I'll make the most out of my time out of the office.
We decided to have our initial consultation at chi-fil-a to chat about my event and what he could do to make the party special.

I was pretty impressed by Joel and he assured me that my event would be in good hands and that he would be able create/host/make a rockin party for us.
Joel had a great speech and really great ideas. He also had this massive book filled with testimonials...which was just a little over the top, but whatever. The only thing that bugged me about Joel was the arrogance that creeped in everyonce in awhile. That sense that it would be completely nuts for me to even consider any other vendor. Which.....in fairness, I get. As a vendor, you have to sell yourself to get the sale. I get that....but part of me just felt like it was so insincere at times and unfortunately, I don't think our personalities completely clicked.....
In addition, with the price tag of $1695 for four hours of music, I just couldn't justify booking him for my wedding.
Back to the drawing board and another let down of vendor rec.'s. Oh well...
